Introduction to Digital Photography
This workshop is designed for the person beginning in digital photography and the person who wants/needs to learn a little bit more about how digital photography works.
This is not an introduction to PhotoShop or any of the other digital imaging programs available even though we will have to refer to some of the techniques necessary to create a good exposure and capture a quality image.
Some of the issues we will address in this class include:
1. Digital Workflow
2. Noise - what is it, how can we prevent or minimize it.
3. Proper exposure for digital photography.
4. White balance, color problems and solutions
5. File types and sizes
6. Compression and resizing of images.
We will teach you how to create images in this class, one will be a panoramic "stitched" together, one will be a "double exposure" and one will be "fill flash". The instructors will be available to help you with your personal projects.
